Deepam-Ujwala district level committees formed
Amaravati: The government has constituted district-level Deepam-Ujjwala committees to monitor the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and Deepam-2 schemes. The district collector or a senior officer nominated by him will act as the chairman of the committee. The representative assigned to that district by the oil marketing company will be the member coordinator. Officers from other oil marketing companies (IOCL, BPCL, Maharatna public sector undertakings), district food and civil supplies officers and non-officials will be members of the committee.
